IT Project Coordinator - Web Dev (Remote: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario)

Job Title: IT Project Coordinator – Web Development & Integrations

Location: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario (remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Project Coordinator to support a web development initiative, including complex third-party integrations with external suppliers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of supporting or managing web-based projects, a deep understanding of project lifecycles, and exceptional communication skills. Experience in the veterinary industry is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality web development projects.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders.

Third-Party Integrations:

  • Oversee complex third-party integrations with external platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to address technical challenges related to APIs, data synchronization, and system interoperability.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management:

  • Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Identify risks and implement strategies to mitigate them proactively.

Veterinary Industry Focus (Preferred):

  • Understand industry-specific needs and best practices.
  • Liaise with veterinary professionals or businesses to tailor solutions for optimal impact.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, particularly in web development.
  • Experience managing projects with complex third-party integrations (e.g., APIs, payment systems, CRMs).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage remote and cross-functional teams effectively.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the veterinary or healthcare industries.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software solutions (e.g., practice management systems).
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.

Business Systems Analyst (Remote)

Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join our firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving our business processes, systems, and operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions that drive efficiency and enhance overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements and objectives.
  • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Design and propose effective solutions to meet business needs and enhance  operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements,  functional specifications, and process maps.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and approval on proposed changes.
  • Work  closely with IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of system changes and enhancements.
  • Conduct testing and validation of new systems or process changes to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth transitions to new systems or processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making recommendations for further improvements as needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to business analysis and systems design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with the ability to analyze and improve them.
  • Proficient      in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong  problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge  of relevant software applications and systems is desirable.
